Internet of Things

With the adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) growing rapidly across local government, our Internet of Things Portfolio is designed to help the Digital Partnership accelerate this transformation.

Working in partnership with Scotland's Innovation Centre for IoT, imaging, and sensing (CENSIS), and with support from Scottish Government, our Portfolio aims to help the Digital Partnership accelerate IoT adoption by:

• Providing a forum for collective national leadership for IoT technology.
• Helping stakeholders to better understand the value and benefits of IoT through show and tells, events and case studies.
• Developing a library of reusable blueprints that showcase how other councils have implemented IoT solutions.
• Supporting councils to work together on collaborative IoT innovation projects.
• Scaling up adoption by providing access to procurement frameworks and exploring options for common solutions.
