SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE REACHED BY PARTNERSHIP
A significant milestone for the Scottish Local Government Digital Partnership has been met with the publication of over 20 deliverables produced across our whole programme of work for Release 3.
Release templates were produced for our Leadership programme and Foundations and Services programmes. These templates are split in to their respectful individual projects. Each deliverable has it's own individual link directly to the rightful documentation within the Digital Office Knowledge Hub.
Our Digital Foundations programme focusses on building strong platforms to ensure processes, data and technology in Scottish local authorities are ‘digitally-ready.’ This Release has some key deliverables including a Cyber Security Maturity Model, Review and Recommendations Paper for the Scottish Wide Area Network and a Better Use of Data Charter.
The Digital Services programme works to develop citizen-focussed next generation services and a key deliverable from this Release includes a brand new Online Parent Portal, creating a new digital interaction between schools and parents/carers.
These are all deliverables that will support local authorities across Scotland in fulfilling not only their individual digital strategies, but also the digital transformation strategy for Scottish local government.
A huge thank you must go to all the project leads and teams who have produced over 20 deliverables for Release 3 across the Digital Foundations, Digital Services and Digital Leadership programmes and we are confident this momentum will continue into Release 4 and beyond.
