To support the work of the Insight Service, the Digital Office for Scottish Local Government is running various drop-in sessions to support organisations within the Digital Partnership with business continuity guidance and elements of digital transformation.


The second session, scheduled for Thursday 10 September, 1-2pm, will be focusing on Service Design, following with insight from Jackie Martin (West Dunbartonshire Council), Jack Wiggins (West Lothian Council) and Steven Kyle (Dundee City Council) and a Q&A session will follow. 


Jackie, a former member of the Digital Office, will provide an insight into the remote training she has been providing to her new colleagues at West Dunbartonshire Council and also an update on the launch of her brand-new blog. 


Jack Wiggins, Service Designer at West Lothian Council and Steven Kyle, Changing for the Future Programme Manager at Dundee City Council will be providing updates on the work they have been progressing using the Scottish Approach to Service Design within their Councils. 


The presenters are keen to receive insight on what potential attendees would like to hear about within the session. Please take a few minutes to answer a few questions if you are planning on attending.

More than 100 colleagues from Scotland’s Local Authorities signed up and undertook Service Design Champion Training in 2018/19 on behalf of the Scottish Local Government Digital Partnership.
