Day 4 of our 2025 Highlights, we're showcasing our Digital Office Resource Centre!

Following our spotlight on the National Digital Capability Advisory Group (DCAG), we continue the conversation on strengthening Scotland’s digital future. The DCAG is driving collaboration across public and third sector organisations, ensuring our workforce is equipped with the skills and confidence to embrace emerging technologies and data-driven decision-making. This joint effort, co-led by the Digital Office and the Scottish Digital Academy, is already shaping common approaches to digital skills and leadership development across the sector.

As we look ahead, the Digital Office Resource Centre becomes the next critical piece of the puzzle. Launched earlier this year, the Resource Centre provides Scottish local authorities with a central hub of tools, guidance, and best practices to accelerate digital transformation. From capability frameworks to practical resources, it’s designed to make collaboration easier and support councils  in delivering efficient, innovative services. This initiative complements the DCAG’s strategic vision by offering tangible assets that help turn plans into action.
