Digital Maturity Assessment

The Digital Office offers a free Digital Maturity Assessment to all members of the Digital Partnership. This Assessment has been designed to align with the Digital Strategy for Scotland - A Changing Nation: How Scotland Will Thrive in a Digital World.

The Digital Maturity Assessment provides local authorities with a baseline on where they are with their digital transformation journey, capturing the views of the workforce and identifying what opportunities exist going forward. The model, which includes co-design sessions and an automated survey, encompasses the entire workforce with a 'whole' organisation approach to Digital Transformation. We have introduced this as an annual process, aligned directly to the financial calendar and forecasting of local authorities. 

With everyone undertaking the assessment at the same time, we can collate insights on behalf of local government to review yearly digital transformation progress and challenges to collectively:

• Drive digital transformation initiatives
• Develop products and services based on user needs
• Exploit efficiencies
• Tailor ongoing support to your council
• Produce evidenced business cases to influence funding and budgets
