MALCOLM CAMERON

Programme Manager – Digital Transformation

Malcolm is our programme manager for digital transformation within the Scottish Local Government Digital Office. In this exciting new arena of co-developing digital services with local government authorities across Scotland, Malcolm’s nineteen years’ project management experience, and more recently his three years managing successful programmes experience will be called upon during this significant period of change. He will help support and challenge our partnering local authorities transition towards digital delivery models while managing the change programmes for the Digital Office.

Before joining us, Malcolm graduated from the University of Dundee before starting his ICT career working initially as a programmer in the financial then manufacturing sectors before moving to work in local government. During the latter, he had responsibility for managing networks and telecoms projects before moving into a similar role in ICT infrastructure. From 2014 Malcolm worked as a programme lead in Angus Council’s transformational change agenda.
