Senior Business Analyst

Jackie is responsible for generating new and useful insight in relation to Scottish Local Governments internal and external user communities which aligns to supporting its Digital Transformation agenda. This includes conducting end to end user and business research to generate findings that will help shape the development of new digital services plus iteratively improve the experience for users.

Before joining the office, Jackie's career varied, from starting out at a French secondary school teacher to marketing at Tayside Public Transport where her love of all things data was born. She joined local government in 1996 as a service development officer for the commercial operations department of East Ayrshire Council and has worked in several councils over the years including North Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire, progressing into different roles and working for almost every service. 

Jackie's most recent role at East Renfrewshire Council involved supporting regulatory services which involved a myriad of change projects looking at modernising processes with a digital push.
