Senior Procurement Specialist – ICT

Gordon will provide the connectivity between the Digital Office, Scotland Excel and our partnering local authorities. He will offer support and guidance in the development and provision of ICT procurement which will deliver services and solutions that support the digital transformation strategy. 

Gordon has experience in both the private and public sectors. From programming, project management, business analysis to ICT management on a career journey that started in Glasgow moving to Papua New Guinea returning to UK and ultimately back to the West of Scotland. This included positions with organisations such as Scottish Power, ANZ Banking Group, Securicor and South Ayrshire Council.

Gordon brings seventeen years’ experience of local government, is a driven individual with a strong understanding of the current ICT landscape within local authorities and the opportunities for transformation and the associated challenges.
