With the majority of councils having operated their current finance system for over 9 years and  several tenders exercises for new software currently being undertaken, an opportunity for efficiency gains exists for the Scottish Councils by working jointly on such activities.


Our project will investigate what possibilities may exist for increased efficiencies through common ways of working, cost reduction in procurement and implementation through joint working.
